Starting a blog from the scratch is no child’s play, neither is coming up with the first blog post ideas to attract the right readers to your blog.

Creating amazing content means coming up with ideas to create posts that profer solution to people’s problems.

It’s a good idea to map out your first blog posts strategy in a way that will give your readers a good experience every stage of the journey.

It’s important to bear in mind, that you have to create content that is relevant to your readers in order to build a relationship with them.

Create your first blog post teaching them to do the basics in your chosen niche.  At this point, you should be focusing majorly on “how to.”

Google keyword planner is a good source to search for keywords that your readers are using.

Some ideas such post in my niche are :

• Common questions of newbie bloggers
• How to start a  blog
• What you need to succeed
• How to do your first…

• Write posts to establish you as an expert in your niche.

Now you can get into the meat of things. Now you write about the stuff that you made your blog for. This when you focus your Post on your core competence. At this point, you really need to answer the question “why  you started your blog in the first place.”

If you don’t know what to write about, then, unfortunately, the real question has to be asked — What did you create your blog for in the first place? Your ability to answer this question will help you write the post that will enable Google to bring the right audience to your blog.

If you know the solution you created your blog to provide, it will give an idea who your audience is.

Let’s take some examples

If you’re a bread baker looking to sell your bread,  your target audience will be people that want to buy bread. Right?

On the other hand, if your blog Is to teach how to bake, your audience will definitely be different. The audience you are looking for on this blog is those seeking knowledge.

When you identify Your audience, you are then able to target and solve their problems.

Now, this is where you identify yourself as an authority in your niche, use search queries to know the problems of this particular audience and craft post to solve these problems. You will also find out their pain point by being active in social communities where they belong.

When you know you readers’ headache and prescribe the right solution, then you are well on your way to becoming their go-to source for information.

•  Next, come up with blog posts that show you are an expert that knows your industry standard.

You may be wondering why it has to come to industry standard when you are not here to please an investor or a bank.

Let’s get into context here. Your readers are huge investors to you right now

Let them know you are knowledgeable in your niche. Write on what affects your niche. Discuss competition in your niche, talk about the participants in your niche. You should know who sells in your niche.

In addition, explain how distribution works – how do you create products and sell.

Examples of this post could be graphics standard,  headline standard,  terminology,  what is new in the industry,  the best tools.

At this point, you’ve become a mentor and they are depending on your recommendation to do so many things such as  best tools to use, best groups to join

• Create free offers,  courses, webinar…

At this point create something deeper than your regular blog post.

Such as a  Free e-book or maybe for a little fee.  Remember, now, you’ve established yourself as an authority.  Many of your readers will be willing to take up your offer and also spread the word among their friends and communities.

With this post, you should be able to develop a well-rounded content calendar to serve the needs of your audience.
